Bertha Sepulveda passed away on February 18, 2019 in Tempe, Arizona with her family by her side. She was a registered nurse and served her community for many years and even when she retired she continued to volunteer the underserved and uninsured.

It's that time of year when we take a moment to honor our co-founder of NAHN Phoenix Chapter, Nurse Bertha Sepulveda! She was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer over 4 years ago and has recently passed away. Bertha worked every day to make a difference in others' lives. She has mentored countless students and nurses in their journey to support our community and realize their potential! This marathoner was full of life and energy and reminds us WHY Pancan is such a great cause!
