​The National Association of Hispanic Nurses, Valle del Sol Chapter, is offering two  $1000, and two$1500 scholarships to eligible Hispanic nursing students as well as a $1000scholarship that is open to Non-Hispanic nursing students. The award amount varies with the selection criteria of each scholarship. The award is given directly to the student upon selection.  Scholarship application forms and eligibility criteria are enclosed. Please copy and distribute this scholarship opportunity. Application deadline is May 27,2019

​Mental Health First Aid Training 

Saturday September 21, 2019 from 8:00AM- 4:430PM. 

​

Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance abuse disorders. This 8-hour training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care. Join the NAHN Phoenix Chapter for this evidenced-based training so you can make a difference in your community.

Phoenix Childrens 5k Walk/ Run with Spectrum Health

​​​​​​​Join NAHNPhx and Spectrum Home Healthcare on October 5th, 2019 from 6:30AM- 1PM 


​Sonoran Medical Mission

October 4-6, 2019 Sonoran Medical Mission will be traveling to Puerto Penasco, Mexico to provide pop-up clinic style care to the local community. The cost is approximately $110-150 per person which includes your stay at the Villa Granda from Friday to Sunday, with two meals a day included.
This is open to RNs, techs, MD/PA/NPs and anyone else who has the heart to help this community.
